Dead Favours have released the music video for "Misbehaviour", the storming lead single from their freshly-released debut album of the same name.

Directed by Adam Jones, and shot across Te Atatu and Muriwai Beach in Auckland, the video casts the four young guys from Misbehaviour’s iconic album cover as the lead actors of the clip, which holds a cheeky tie in to the album’s explosive imagery in the final scene.

The story follows four mates on the ultimate bmx-based adventure. A destructive hoon through suburbia takes an ominous turn, as equal helpings of curiosity and mischevious intent lead the foursome down a path to a sinister end. Dead Favours take a more passive role, making a cameo appearance as unsuspecting victims of this group of disorderly deliquents.

The release of the video punctuates another step in the Dead Favours journey, and follows the album release in late June. Three years in the making, the Misbehaviour album is a staunch blend of riffs, beats and balls-out energy muddled together with tales of love, life and loss. Recorded in Melbourne and Auckland with Tom Larkin (Shihad) and Jon Grace from Homesurgery Studios on production, Misbehaviour packs every inch of live performance (minus the Tequila) into what might just be New Zealand’s next top rock album of 2019.
