New Zealand has cruised to a four wicket win over Bangladesh in their second tri-series cricket one-dayer in Dublin.

After restricting Bangladesh to 257/9, half centuries from stand in captain Tom Latham and man of the match Jimmy Neesham helped the Black Caps reach their target with 15 balls to spare.

Latham's pleased with the way they timed their chase, and said they managed to build a lot of partnerships and that was the pleasing thing.

Earlier Hamish Bennett took 3 for 31 with the ball while Neesham claimed two wickets to go with his 52 from 48 balls with the bat.

The Black Caps next face Ireland on Sunday night.
