Ash Dixon will lead the Maori All Blacks on their tour to Chicago, Limerick and London next month.

The Hawke's Bay and Highlanders hooker takes over from Charlie Ngatai, who's still recovering from concussion.

Leni Apisai, Whetu Douglas, Billy Guyton, Leighton Price, Reed Prinsep and Kara Pryor have been named in the Maori All Blacks for the first time, while a former skipper returns.

Tim Bateman is back after a three year absence, having returned from playing in Japan.

Bateman recently played for Tasman B.

One more player will be added to the squad, which will leave New Zealand on Sunday night.

The Maori All Blacks will play the USA in Chicago next week before matches against Munster and Harlequins in Limerick and London respectively.
