Someone Has Started A Petition To Change The US National Anthem To 'Sandstorm' By Darude

A change.org petition has arisen, urging President Barack Obama to consider changing the US National Anthem to 'Sandstorm' by Darude.

The petition website states "Our national anthem is outdated and stale. Changing it to Darude - Sandstorm will ensure our country is elevated in the modern age. Let's make America great again."

You can't argue with that!

The current national anthem 'The Star-Spangled Banner' was written back in 1814 by amateur poet Francis Scott Key. It's existed for 202 years, 85 of which it has been the official national anthem of the United States of America.

The petition has just started and has almost 2000 signatures with comments such as "make america rave again".
