The moment an Afghani news presenter had to flee for his life during 7.5 magnitude earthquake has been captured on film.

The earthquake, which has killed more than 200 people in South Asia, rocked the Ariana TV Network newsroom in Kabul while a live news segment was being broadcast.

Footage from the television station shows the presenter attempting to continue his report as the camera rocks up and down, and his desk and surroundings begin rattling.

Objects in the background can also be heard smashing as the tremor increased in ferocity, and after a few seconds he flees from his seat in front of the camera.
