A collection of outtakes from two of Van Halen's most iconic '80s music videos has resurfaced on YouTube, providing a treasure trove of behind-the-scenes moments showing the band at 'work.'

Van Halen reportedly filmed so much during the production of the "Jump" video that some of those scenes were edited into the final cut for "Panama" — the more ambitious of the two videos.

The vast majority of scenes — like those of David Lee Roth and Alex Van Halen driving around in a Mercury lowrider or of Roth on a motorcycle — were filmed in Los Angeles. But a few scenes were also shot during a two-night stand at the Providence Civid Center in Rhode Island.

In addition to the driving-around images, there are outtakes of Alex extricating himself from a pile of drums, a tuxedoed Eddie Van Halen playing a grand piano, Roth on the phone in his bedroom while a "maid" dusts his plants and Michael Anthony arguing with a gigantic animatronic rodent.
