The Killers returned to their hometown of Las Vegas over the weekend to take part in BBC Radio 2’s Live At Home festival and decided to play their set from the rooftop of Caesars Palace (which was made famous in The Hangover). They played some songs off their new album Imploding the Mirage and also treated fans to an oldie but goodie with "When You Were Young" off 2006's 'Sam's Town'.

“Out of the ordinary times, so we followed suit and jumped on the roof of Caesars Palace, Las Vegas to do what we do. Felt strangely natural!” the band said about the performance.

John Legend, Sheryl Crow, The Pretenders, Erasure, and more also participated in the two-day festival. Watch The Killers perform "When You Were Young" on the Caesars Palace roof above.

Though The Killers released 'Imploding the Mirage' just a few weeks ago, frontman Brandon Flowers recently divulged that the band is already working on its follow up, and it's coming out next year.

“Every time someone makes a record they say that they have 50 songs and they’re going to release another record. We really are,” he told NME during a recent interview.

“We’re going to release another one in about 10 months. We’ve already gone back into the studio ... We did a week in Northern California,” he added.
