When Jimmy Eat World released their 10th studio album, Surviving, last year, they planned to tour in the spring and summer of 2020. Of course, that never happened because the coronavirus pandemic hit before the band's first trek began; however, fans will finally get the chance to hear those new tracks live next month.

On Tuesday (December 15), JEW announced the Phoenix Sessions livestream series, which sees the indie rockers play three full albums, beginning with their most recent. The series begins with Surviving on January 15, 2021, and is followed by Futures on January 29 and Clarity on February 12.

“Making records is almost in even part with performing," frontman Jim Adkins says in an announcement video. "When you perform something you recorded, it teaches you something. It shows you things about yourself. We’ve been really, really fortunate over the years to have that experience with our fans. With people who’ve found something in what we do that they can connect with on their own."

"It’s the biggest compliment for any musician when someone takes the time to sit down with what you’ve done and make it theirs," he continues. "There’s a deep sense of gratitude that’s come from being able to have that experience. So this concert series is about chasing that experience on a different level. On a level we’ve never tried before. It can be something people can connect within a new way, too."

Each performance will stream at 5pm ET/2pm PT, with replays available for 72 hours. Tickets are $14.99 per show, with a range of packages available that feature merch including a limited edition poster, exclusive T-shirt, masks printed with each album’s artwork, and even a virtual meet and greet with the band.
